You'll hear about real-life power house women, Christina Watts, and Kalee Rogers, who set records with our wellness supplement company, Yu. This episode is all about celebrating successes, fostering a culture of collaboration, and reaffirming the fact that if they can do it, so can you. So, gear up for a surge of inspiration, and embrace the belief that 'impossible' is just a state of mind.

Speaker 1:

Welcome to the Social Media Influencer podcast. I'm Jenny Peterson, a stay-at-home mom of three turned six-figure social media influencer, turned CEO of my own seven-figure product-based business. I'm obsessed with all things online business, online marketing, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing and social selling. Why am I spilling all my secrets? Because I believe when we all do better, we all do better. Let's dive in. Well, hey there, my beautiful friend. Oh my gosh, I have missed you. School has started back up and I am so excited and ready to get back on a regular podcasting schedule. Today I'm going to share with you why I love watching other women succeed, why I love watching other women do the seemingly impossible. A couple of really incredible things have happened recently in my business. I own a company called you and we are a wellness supplement company. We had two huge milestones happen recently. The first is Christina Watts was the first U affiliate to have a million dollars in personal sales and she achieved this in eight months. She was also the first affiliate to make six figures in one month. Christina is a powerhouse. She's one of the hardest working women that I know. We also restructured our compensation plan, so we now have seven different levels and we increased our commission, so we now pay up to 30%. Level seven is the highest level that you can achieve, that's when you sell $150,000 or more in a single month, and because nobody has achieved that level yet, we gave our affiliates an extra incentive this month and said the first person to achieve level seven and sell $150,000 in a single month will get a $10,000 cash bonus.

Speaker 1:

It sounds impossible, right? Well, guess what? Someone did it. Kaylee Rogers did it in 16 days. I love seeing women make the impossible possible. I love seeing other women break barriers and do incredible things. Why? Because I've learned that if she can do it, I can do it too.

Speaker 1:

Today, I got to shout out these two incredible women inside our affiliate-only Facebook group and I shared one of my favorite true stories. The story that I shared with my affiliates was the one of Roger Bannister, and if you've never heard of this story before, roger Bannister was a runner who was chasing an impossible goal. He wanted to run a mile in under four minutes. The problem was no one in the history of mankind had ever done this before. He was called crazy. He was told that it was humanly impossible. He was advised by doctors not to try. People warned him that he would die trying to run a mile in under four minutes. However, despite all of the naysayers, despite everyone saying that it could not be done, that it was impossible, on May 6th 1954, roger Bannister broke through the four-minute-mile barrier with a time of three minutes 59 and four-tenths of a second. But do you know what I love most about this story? Once other runners saw Roger Bannister do it, they knew that it was possible. They knew that they could do it too. And they did. Isn't that crazy? Never in the history of mankind had a man run a mile in under four minutes. And then Roger Bannister shows up and does it, paves the way for everyone else to do it too. And just 46 short days later, after Roger Bannister broke the record, a runner named John Landy not only broke the barrier again, but he did it in three minutes and 58 seconds. Then, just a short year later, three runners broke the four-minute barrier in a single race. Now, over half a century later, over 1,000 runners have broken the four-minute-mile. But what changed? How did the once seemingly impossible become possible? Did we evolve as a human race? No, the thing that changed was the mindset of the runners. What changed was their belief that the impossible was in fact, possible, and once runners saw that it can be done, others did it too.

Speaker 1:

I love this story. I love that it is a true story because it reminds me that whenever I see another woman crushing it at life, cheer for her. Whenever I see a woman doing impossible things, incredible things, breaking through barriers, celebrate her, because the truth is, she is paving the way so that more women can do it too, and I want you to adopt this mantra this is one of my mantras and I say it to myself often If she can do it, I can do it too, and I love watching these incredible U affiliates smash through these barriers and hit these incredible milestones, because they are literally paving the way and making it possible for other people to do it. And that's the most exciting part they are the first ones to do it, but they will not be the last. We live in a world where there's constant comparison, competition among women, but the kind of culture that I want to cultivate in my own company is one of community, one of collaboration over competition, one of cooperation over competition, one of community over competition, instead of seeing another woman that is doing the seemingly impossible, that is doing incredible mind blowing things, that is breaking through barriers. Instead of seeing her and feeling jealous or comparing yourself to her or competing with her, celebrate her, because if she can do it, you can do it too.

Speaker 1:

I really learned this lesson when I was in network marketing, because I started seeing all of these leaders that were hitting these incredible levels of income and achievements and what I started to realize was they're not any different than me. They're all just human beings. We're all just human beings. There's nothing special about these people, and that's what made me realize gosh, if she can do it, I can do it as well. So, if you have big goals, if you have big dreams, if you have big barriers that you want to break through, do it, you can do it. I totally believe in you. And here's the thing I look at myself and I'm like, oh my gosh, if I can run an almost eight figure company now with all of my flaws my ADHD, hot mess, express brain then you can absolutely do it too. And I want you to know that, like, if I can do this, you can do this.

Speaker 1:

And if you want to achieve big things, big things that you're seeing other women achieve, follow them, watch them notice. What are they doing? How are they showing up online? How many times a day are they posting on their wall in their stories? What do they do when they go live that really connects them to their community? Study them and learn, because success leaves clues and often the successful will codify what they did. They will share that knowledge freely and abundantly with other people. Listen, I know this was a short one, but I just had to share this beautiful true story with you.
