If you want to be a social media influencer, you will eventually have haters. It's not a question of IF, it's WHEN. I used to really struggle with negative comments on social media but not anymore. Here's a few things that have helped me: 

  1. You are going to get haters. Expect it. If you haven’t gotten haters yet and you are in the influencer space, you are putting yourself out there, you're showing up consistently and your followers are increasing, it’s just a matter of time. And when it happens, know this…you are on the right track! 
  2. The only opinions that matter at the end of the day is what God thinks of you and what you think of yourself. Love yourself! When you truly love yourself, other peoples opinions carry less weight. 
  3. Hurt people hurt people. 
  4. The algorithm does not know the difference between a good or bad comment. At the end of the day, a comment is a comment and it will help your content perform better.
